Expert Bits – Consultation Booking Terms and Conditions

By booking a consultation with Expert Bits, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Booking Requirements

Consultations must be pre-booked and confirmed in writing.
A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance is payable on completion of the consultation.
The number of horses must be confirmed at the time of booking. Any changes must be made at least 5 days before your consultation.
All horses must be sound and up to date with dental checks. Bit fitting relies on accurate feedback from the horse, and pain from lameness or dental issues can affect their response to the bit. We are unable to proceed with consultations if a horse is showing signs of lameness, discomfort, or has unresolved dental problems, as this may result in inaccurate advice or further discomfort for the horse.
Consultation pricing is based on your location and will be confirmed at the time of booking.

2. Consultation Fee

The consultation fee includes a one-hour individual session per horse.
Deposits are non-refundable if the booking is cancelled with less than 5 days’ notice.
Additional horses on the day are charged at the standard per-horse rate for your area.

3. Products

Bits and bridles are available to purchase on the day. Prices are listed at www.expertbits.co.uk.
There is no obligation to purchase products during a consultation.

4. Cancellations & Amendments

Cancellations or changes to your booking must be made at least 5 days before your scheduled consultation.
Cancellations or amendments made with less than 5 days’ notice may result in the deposit being retained to cover allocated time.

5. Liability

All advice given is based on the information provided and observations made during the consultation. It is the owner/rider’s responsibility to apply the advice appropriately.
Expert Bits accepts no liability for injury or loss resulting from the use or misuse of any bit or bridle.
